A groundbreaking 12" release from the London based electro duo Mock & Toof. Though Mock & Toof have made their name in England with their adventurous remixes of groups like the Scissor Sisters and The Juan Maclean, their original output moves beyond the minimalist, Giorgio Moroder-derived electro-pulse of their early work and embraces the more abstract psychedelic textures of indie tastemakers like Panda Bear and Prefuse 73. UNDERWATER is Mock & Toof's first release for the influential New York imprint DFA, and signals an interesting change in direction for this talented outfit.
