Diamonds Furcoat Champagne

Although they reached their pinnacle in the 1990s, Britpop and dance-rock workhorses Primal Scream show they're still alive and kicking in 2008 with the release of DIAMONDS, FUR COAT, CHAMPAGNE, a song that pulses with the revved-up, glammy, and danceable energy for which the group is known. A limited edition release on 10" vinyl, the song is backed by a demo from post-punk progenitors Suicide entitled "Ghostrider," recorded at the time of Suicide's iconic first album. The pairing makes for an intriguing post-punk curio, not to mention a thoroughly satisfying listen.
