The 2009 album YE VIOLS! collects 11 soundscapes composed by Mouse on Mars frontman Jan St. Werner (performing under pseudonym Lithrops), previously featured as the audio component of various modern art installations. While the moods and textures here vary widely, and the result more frequently resembles musique concrète than Mouse on Mars, every note (and/or sound) bears the experimental electronic imprint of St. Werner.
