British singer-songwriter Caroline Weeks, best known for her multi-instrumentalist role in the U.K. alt-folk group Bats For Lashes, makes her solo debut with a stark, haunting selection of spare musical settings of the poetry of Edna St. Vincent Millay. Millay's confessional poetry sounds surprisingly contemporary in these settings, even when the settings are of such familiar poems as "What Lips My Lips Have Kissed."
