Grampall Jookabox is producer/songwriter David Adamson, and his second album was written and recorded alone in Adamson's basement in the space of a week of fevered productivity. The album threads several parallel themes, including race, celebrity, insanity, and the paranormal. All of these culminate in the cracked majesty of "I Will Save Young Michael," a time-traveling fantasy about Michael Jackson.
