Angst Is Not a Weltanschauung!

Bernhard Fleischmann's relationship with Morr Music is one of the more fruitful artist/label pairings in recent memory. His fourth full-length for the German label is his most song-based to date, that is, if you don't consider his numerous achievements in the ambient/glitch-pop field to be "songs." It's undeniably his most poppy and playful, even when the melodies are moody ("Last Time We Met At A T&TT Concert") or reserved ("In Trains"). There are the usual instrumentals too ("The Market"), but this is certainly the first B. Fleischmann record to feature a Daniel Johnston reworking ("Phones, Machines, and King Kong").
