Tributee: Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Pride of the South: All-Star Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd includes 13 tracks that don't add much to the original superior versions. A few of the better performances on this compilation include "What's Your Name" by Black Oak Arkansas, "Free Bird" by Charlie Daniels and Molly Hatchet, "That Smell" by Canned Heat, "Gimme Back My Bullets" by Pat Travers, and "Call Me the Breeze" by Atlanta Rhythm Section. This Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute was originally available in 2008 on the Cleopatra label under the title An All-Star Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd. The 2013 version on Music Avenue changed the title, running order of songs, and CD graphics, but the original program remains intact. ~ Al Campbell
