Muertos Vivos

If the album and song titles alone--"We're All Dying," "War is a Cemetery," "Face the Ashes"--weren't enough to tip listeners off, this Vancouver hardcore band explores issues of death, life, and more death on their sixth full-length release (2007). The quality of the songwriting and the tightness of the performances here set the group apart from the plethora of middling hardcore acts, and is, to date, the band's most musically sophisticated outing.
