The unsung heroes of early American punk rock made only one EP and a handful of singles, remarkable for their tunefulness, lyrical acumen, and the performance of lead singer Penelope Houston--one of the few great frontwomen and songwriters of the '77-era punk scene. This album gathers some live recordings of the band, blistering takes of their best material. The title track is a classic statement of despair, cynicism, and punk rock redemption.
