Resistance

After completely scrapping an entire album's worth of material for sounding too similar to its predecessor, Chill `Em All, Quebec DJ and producer Champion eventually returned to the music scene in 2009 with his second studio LP, Resistance. With regular vocalist Betty Bonifassi concentrating on her own indie electro duo, Beast, Champion enlisted the help of Montreal musician Pilou Cote for its 11 tracks, which include the singles "Alive Again" and "Perfect in Between." ~ Jon O'Brien
