OH, THE PLACES WE'LL GO is about as light and carefree as indie-pop gets, with lo-fi amateurish funk riffs sidling up against Rhodes pianos, breezy male/female vocal harmonies, handclaps, and other playful percussion. But it's also as unexpectedly danceable and rhythmic as an Avalanches record, particularly on sublime cuts like "Counting Blue."
