Georgia EP

Released in December 2020 to benefit the voter rights organization Fair Fight Action, Georgia is an exclusive five-song EP by Seattle indie rock icons Death Cab for Cutie. Recorded remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, the band cover songs written by Georgia-bred artists in honor of politician Stacey Abrams and her organization's work regarding the state's two runoff Senate elections taking place in January of the following year. On the EP, the group offer up unique takes on songs by TLC, Cat Power, R.E.M., Vic Chestnutt, and Neutral Milk Hotel. ~ Timothy Monger
