West Coast indie MC Roc `C' presents his own brand of underground hardcore lyricism on 16 tight tracks on his debut Stones Throw release, ALL QUESTIONS ANSWERED. With a brutish monotone flow, Roc `C' is all shoulders and elbows on the mic, while Stones Throw prodigy Oh No takes care of most of the production, meshing space-age funk with throwback cinematic blaxploitation and soul-based hard thump. Supplemental beatwork comes courtesy of Baptman, Decipher, DJ Int, and DJ Romes of Lootpack fame. The eclectic guest list includes Chino XL, Bizzy Bone, Kankick, Glasses Malone, Aloe Blacc, and Dudley Perkins.
