Canadian musician Ohad Benchetrit, a native of Montreal, is a multi-instrumentalist in the post-rock outfit Do Make Say Think and has also contributed to albums by artists in the Broken Social Scene orbit. YEARS is his solo debut, released on Broken Social Scene's Arts and Crafts label. The 12 instrumental pieces on this album tend to the brief and sparse, as opposed to the epic, orchestral sprawl of Do Make Say Think. The pleasant, often reflective album passes through a variety of moods and musical styles without settling on any one in particular.
