Wagner Reloaded: Live in Leipzig

This 2013 live release from Apocalyptica pairs the Finnish chamber-metal veterans with the MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra for a performance of new compositions based on the works of seminal German composer Richard Wagner. Released to coincide with the 200th anniversary of Wagner's birth, and featuring the award-winning choreography of Gregor Seyffert, a full symphony and choir, and hundreds of dancers, Wagner Reloaded celebrates, at top volume, the life and times of the legendary composer, theater director, polemicist, and conductor responsible for some of the world's most beloved operas, many of which are referenced throughout the massive production. ~ James Christopher Monger
