Rouge Sang

Rouge Sang ("Blood Red") is the long-awaited follow-up to the acclaimed Renaud's Boucan d'Enfer. Interestingly, as evidenced by the preceding hit single "Les Bobos," much of the music here reflects the songwriter's early career, albeit more quietly. There are numerous political songs (so to speak: Renaud became an anarchist during those ensuing four years) as well as very intimate love songs to and about his wife. ~ Thom Jurek
