Only Mirrors

ONLY MIRRORS finds Drew Andrews, best known in his role as guitarist for the Album Leaf, stepping out on his own. While he doesn't echo the sounds of Album Leaf's ambient pop, Andrews does share a similarly low-key, reflective approach to music-making. ONLY MIRRORS is ultimately more of a singer/songwriter album than anything; Andrews's soft voice and low-key delivery float above a mellow mixture of acoustic guitars and almost pastoral-sounding electronics (okay, THAT part's a bit Album Leaf-esque) creating a warm atmosphere that's poignant without ever becoming cloying.
