Originally released in 1976 during high times for Hi Records, this interesting album never got much exposure. The group is the basic Hi Rhythm section; the guys who backed Al Green, Syl Johnson, Don Bryant, Ann Peeples, and others in the studio. The lead vocalist on "Superstar," "Since You've Been Gone," and some other cuts sounds like Al Green on a beer binge. "I Remember You, Do You" sounds like a hit, a twist on the obvious. "Save All My Lovin'" and "You Got Me Comin'" are good Southern bar jams, while "Skinny Dippin'" is both humorous and lewd. ~ Andrew Hamilton
