Argentine Rock band Babasonicos' ninth album, MUCHO, is a laidback, melodic journey. MUCHO starts off as a clean, solid rock album mixed by Phil Brown (who has worked with the likes of Bob Marley and Roxy Music), as songs such as "Pijamas" bring together deceptively simple guitar riffs, clever lyrics, and sweet harmonies. However the second half of the album introduces songs like the electronica-infused "Microdancing" and ends with "Idolo," which boasts a certain country twang. On MUCHO, Babasonico's remains faithful to their spirit of musical experimentation without alienating their listeners.
