Formerly known as Jonny Corndawg, Jonny Fritz combines an outlaw country honky tonk sensibility with a sharp, intelligent and humorous songwriting style that gives him a unique place in the contemporary roots, Americana, and country scene. This set, co-produced by Fritz and Taylor Goldsmith and recorded at Jackson Browne's Los Angeles studio, features songs that are full of believable, if outrageous, oddball characters and while they're funny songs, they're done with care and craft and heart. ~ Steve Leggett
