Unrock Tapes

Former guitarist for ethnomusicologist freaks Sun City Girls, Sir Richard Bishop grew his unique playing style from a range of influences that spanned lines of time, geography, and possibly interstellar space. The Unrock Tapes compiles tracks that were originally released on tour-only CD-Rs, long-forgotten compilation tracks, and two previously unreleased compositions. Bishop's playing phases through raga-styled explorations and the same bizarre absurdist viewpoints he began developing with Sun City Girls early on in his lengthy career. ~ Fred Thomas
