Kanamalu is the third album from griot singer/musician Kimi Djabate (Guinea-Bissau), which succeeds "Karam" (released by Cumbancha in 2009, which reached the second place of the World Music Charts Europe). Kimi Djabate comes from a venerable family of mandinka musicians and lived all his life submersed in sound and culture, learning balafon, guitar and singing.
