Freedom of Noise EP

A double pack of bone-breaking sonic mayhem from MLO/Lo Recordings main man Jonathon Tye, running the gamut from hardcore techno and industrial jungle to dirgy downtempo breaks and beatless, distorted noise. The tracks are far too jumbled in the mix to make their point with any subtlety, but subtlety hardly seems Tye's point here, with every sound forced past proper EQ and the resulting noise left to generate its own logic. Interesting, if somewhat laborious. ~ Sean Cooper
