Metheny is equipped with probably his best ever live group; Steve Rodby, Dan Gottlieb, Nana Vasconcelos, and his right arm, keyboard virtuoso Lyle Mays. The recording exudes warmth, and often improves on tracks already issued on studio albums; for example, 'Phase Dance' is played with more verve and 'Song For Bilbao' sounds more passionate in a live context. The diamond in the mine, however, is the shortest piece - the glorious and delicate title track - worth the price of the album alone.","brand":"InnerSleeve","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":41907220971685,"sku":"042281062216","price":38.95,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0612\/6007\/1077\/files\/083371cde5665bd20b6b2b5af4e4a077.jpg?v=1777717041","url":"https:\/\/www.innersleeve.com\/products\/travels","provider":"InnerSleeve","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
