Eye of the Zombie bears a surprisingly synthesized production, a clanking, cavernous collection of keyboards, squealing controlled distortion, and conflicting drum programs. To a certain extent, this unpleasantness may be intentional because at its core, Eye of the Zombie is a very angry album, finding Fogerty railing against all manners of `80s evils, whether it's crass consumerism, blaring headlines, or the violent policies they chronicle. Instead of pairing this doom to some swampy choogle, Fogerty sets it to too-tight synth rhythms and encases it in glassy production that is the antithesis of Fogerty's rage. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine","brand":"InnerSleeve","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":41896528806053,"sku":"4050538391862","price":26.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0612\/6007\/1077\/files\/f3000ef7824dce4def1e56a19c813ffc.jpg?v=1777669895","url":"https:\/\/www.innersleeve.com\/en-fr\/products\/eye-of-the-zombie","provider":"InnerSleeve","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
